Senaru-Sembalun-Start Point-POS1-POS2-POS3-Sembalun Rim
- The adventure begins with an early breakfast at Senaru village, after which we embark on a thrilling 4WD journey to Sembalun.
- Upon reaching Sembalun, we proceed to register at the Rinjani Trek Centre (1,156 m) before commencing our trek. The trail takes us through picturesque open grasslands, gradually winding its way up the mountainside.
- Along the way, we make strategic stops at Pos 1 and Pos 2 to rest and enjoy some snacks. By midday, we reach Pos 3 (1,800 m), where we take a longer break and enjoy a delicious lunch.
- Energized and refreshed, we commence the steep ascent to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m).
- Here, we set up camp for the night and are treated to breathtaking views of the sunset, Lake Segara Anak, the majestic Mount Rinjani summit, and the stunning landscapes of northern Lombok.
Sembalun Crater Rim-Summit 3726 MASL-Segara Anak Lake-Hot Spring-Senaru Rim
- At 3 am, we rise early and savor a light breakfast before embarking on the challenging three-hour trek to the summit (3,726 m).
- The dawn hours offer the most spectacular vistas, making sunrise a truly unforgettable experience.
- After reveling in the breathtaking scenery, we return to our campsite on the crater rim for a hearty breakfast and some rest.
- Then, we begin our descent into the caldera, making a stop at the shore of Lake Segara Anak (2,000 m), where you can even take a refreshing dip in the inviting hot springs.
- Following a rejuvenating lunch, we continue our trek along the lakeshore before ascending out of the crater through dense forest.
- By late afternoon, we arrive at the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m), where we set up camp for the night.
- The vantage point here treats us to stunning views of the lake, the summit, Gunung Baru – the smaller volcanic cone within the crater, and even sights as far as Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands.
Senaru Crater Rim-POS 3-POS 2-POS Ekstra-POS 1-Jebak Gawah-Senaru Village
- After a wholesome breakfast, we start our descent from the mountain, passing through Pos 3, Pos 2, and Pos 1, and enjoying breaks and a leisurely lunch along the way.
- As we make our way down, the forest becomes denser and more lush, offering a serene and scenic trek.
- Finally, around 1 pm, we reach the village of Senaru (601 m), where our adventurous journey concludes.
- From here, you’ll be transported to your next destination, taking with you memories of the awe-inspiring landscapes and the unforgettable experiences on the 3 Days Summit Segara Anak Lake, Hot Spring.
